Thank you for visiting Foxfire Village on the World Wide Web. Foxfire Village, which was incorporated by an act of the North Carolina State Legislature in 1977, had its beginnings as a golf resort. Located only four miles west of historic Pinehurst, the Village surrounds two 18 hole championship golf courses. In many ways Foxfire Village, a world nestled under the longleaf and loblolly pines that frame the beautiful homes and spacious home sites, is indeed a contradiction of the fast pace of today's world. With the conscientious efforts of its residents and members of the Council, Foxfire Village has become a premier residential and vacation community.

The weather in the beautiful Sandhills tends to maintain a pleasant balance between the extreme cold of northern winters and the relentless heat of the tropical south, thereby making it the perfect alternative to other crowded vacation and retirement areas.

The Village Council provides the leadership in Foxfire Village. Responsible for administration of all official matters of the Village, the following people currently serve Foxfire Village in their respective positions:

Voter registration can be picked up at the Village office and at the Board of Elections, 700 Pinehurst Ave., Carthage.

A candidate for council must be a resident of Foxfire Village and a registered voter. The Council meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.
